CARBON ZERO & CARBON NEUTRAL
We continue to draw inspiration from nature and add experience. The new destination of our sustainability philosophy in every field is Lenzing's "CARBON ZERO," and on this carbon-neutral journey, we aim to erase our human footprints in nature, leave a mark with our production and quality, and make BURTEKS TEKSTİL SAN VE TİC. A.Ş. even more renowned.
By capturing unavoidable CO2 emissions at every stage of life, we have dedicated ourselves to sustainable efforts to reduce future carbon emissions and leave a more livable world for future generations. With our open-minded vision for innovation in our industry, being a pioneer is where our story begins.
In order to balance the carbon emissions released into the atmosphere as a result of human activities with those removed from the atmosphere, we continue on our path with the slogan "Join Life Carbon Zero - Lifetime Carbon Zero," without wasting any more time. By choosing the right path to achieve zero carbon in the long term with Lenzing's Tencel brand, we have joined forces with the fibers certified as CarbonNeutral products.
TENCEL™ Lyocell:
TENCEL™ Lyocell, a regenerated cellulosic fiber,
is derived from sustainably managed forests.
*Fabrics made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are fluid and glossy.
*It is a breathable fiber. Thanks to its moisture management, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers create an environment less favorable for bacterial growth.
*It has excellent strength both wet and dry. Its strength is 36cN/tex when dry and 31cN/tex when wet.
*Due to its moisture-absorbing properties, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers prevent static electricity build-up.
*TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers naturally feel smooth to the touch, a characteristic confirmed by TSA testing.
Applications include all types of apparel (outerwear, underwear, denim, sportswear, socks, etc.) and home textiles (towels, bed linens, mattresses, pillows, etc.).
Our TENCEL™ Lyocell Fibers:
TENCEL STANDARD
TENCEL LF
TENCEL A100
TENCEL REFİBRA
MİCRO TECHNOLOGY TENCEL
Our productions range from NE 12/1 to NE 80/1.
REFIBRA™ x TENCEL™:
REFIBRA™ technology TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers include not only wood pulp but also post-consumer cotton garment production leftovers, which are used to produce new TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers for fabrics and garments.
*Provides moisture transfer.
*Durable and creates an environment unfavorable for bacteria growth.
*Offers natural comfort.
*Creates a draped, shiny, soft touch.
Our productions range from NE 12/1 to NE 40/1.
Micro Technology TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers
It is finer compared to standard TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers.
*It provides resistance and softness to the fabric.
*It has a smooth appearance.
*It offers comfort and natural ease.
*Since it can naturally absorb moisture, it creates natural climate control, making it suitable for year-round use.
In addition to ready-to-wear, lingerie, socks, sportswear, bedding, and sheet manufacturers, it is also a favorite among mattress manufacturers.
Our productions: Ranging from NE 50/1 to NE 80/1.
LENZING™ Lyocell LF - LENZING™ Lyocell A 100
Tencel fiber, with its fibrillation property, contributes to the appearance and feel of the fabric, and due to the soft touch created by fibrillation on the fabric, it is known for its peach skin effect.
TENCEL® LF (low fibrillation): The fiber type with low fibrillation is 1.3 dtex-38 mm.
TENCEL® A100: The fiber type with very low fibrillation (for deep and vibrant colors) is 1.4 dtex-38 mm. Tencel A100 and Tencel LF fibers have a more open structure compared to standard Tencel fibers, which makes them more water-absorbent. While the standard Tencel fiber has high wet and dry strength properties, Tencel LF and Tencel A100 fibers are preferred for products where the peach skin effect is not desired.
Products made with Tencel LF and Tencel A100 fibers show significantly higher color fastness compared to cotton.
Our productions: Ranging from NE 12/1 to NE 60/1.
Bamboo
Bamboo fiber has an ideal and excellent structure for textile use. It is extremely soft, lightweight, and has a silky feel. Its breathable structure provides a cooling effect. It has an incredibly hygroscopic nature, allowing it to absorb more water compared to other conventional fibers (such as cotton, polyester, etc.). Bamboo fiber also exhibits higher antistatic properties compared to other fibers. Additionally, it naturally has deodorizing (odor-controlling) properties.
Our productions: Ranging from NE 12/1 to NE 60/1.
EcoVero
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers are sourced from sustainably managed forests.
*It is environmentally friendly.
*It causes 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose fibers.
*Fabrics containing LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers can be certified at Lenzing certification centers located in Europe and Asia. Brands can also use special labels on products containing LENZING™ ECOVERO™ if desired.
*These fibers carry the EU Ecolabel, which certifies their environmental responsibility throughout the entire process from raw material extraction to production and distribution.
All environmentally-conscious manufacturers who require traceability can prefer LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers over generic viscose.
Our productions: Ranging from NE 12/1 to NE 80/1.
MICRO MODAL FIBERS
Micro-Technologized TENCEL™ MODAL fibers, sourced from sustainably managed forests, offer the following advantages over standard MODAL fibers;
* They provide comfort and greater softness to the fabric. Even after multiple washes, they retain their softness.
* Their high flexibility and smoothness enhance the quality of the product they are used in.
* They offer a delicate and soft touch.
*Due to their efficient moisture absorption, they provide natural comfort. With their eco-friendly natural structure, Micro-Technologized TENCEL™ MODAL fibers are shaped by Burteks' manufacturing expertise to meet the highest quality expectations.
Our productions: Ranging from NE 12/1 to NE 80/1.
